REMEMBER BrowserID, namely internet sign-in system that was developed Mozilla?

In July 2011, the project was revealed to the public. But up to now not clear whether Mozilla will continue to build their systems.

However, yesterday (19/11), in a blog post Identity revealed Mozilla Mozilla team will soon release a Mozilla BrowserID at all sites. BrowserID is to provide the login username and Internet password. Instead concentrate on the email address, but more particularly in the case of verified addresses.

If the user can verify email addresses, they can also use the online account that is connected to email. BrowserID technology uses public-private key systems. In the case of Mozilla and Mozilla's other sites, users need only one account BrowserID.

They just need an email address for logging in instead of password. Core differences from other similar systems such as OpenID, Twitter, Facebook Connect, Google and Yahoo, BrowserID not involve identity providers in the process of logging in. No data are shared on the site. Prefer the privacy perspective.
