Asus launched a new champion in the segment of ultra-thin laptop, ultrabook. Taiwanese vendors will present Zenbook, ultrabook premium high-performance claims.
"With the design and performance of our best, maybe this is the best ultrabook on the market," claims Rex Lee, Asus South East Asia Regional Director in Jakarta, Thursday (10/11/2011).
Zenbook design is elegantly wrapped in solid aluminum. Zenbook also very thin, with a thickness of 3 mm on the front and 9 mm at the rear.
Zenbook equipped with pretty good specs, when compared with ultra-thin laptops eat it. Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of DDR 3 RAM, 128 GB SSD, USB 3.0, and a battery that is claimed to last up to 7 hours for browsing.
"This laptop also has a feature that Insant On start up in just two seconds and a stand by two weeks," said Juliana Chen, Business Development Manager for Asus.
Asus Zenbook consists of two models and already available in Indonesia market. 13-inch model priced at USD 1199, while the 11 inch model priced at USD 1099.
Ultrabook laptop itself is a new category was initiated by Intel. Ultrabook rely on an ultra slim design and capable performance.
